Rockville, MD – October 17, 2019 – TurningPoint-DSFederal, JV, L.L.C. announces today that the Social Security Administration (SSA) has selected the company to implement a telecommunications expense management solution (TEMS) to manage its local wireline infrastructure for the agency's transition to the General Services Administration's (GSA) Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) contract.

The project is a follow on to the work JV member Turning Point Global Solutions has been providing for SSA since 2016.

SSA will meet its inventory management objectives for its SSA Local, Long Distance, and Access Management (Grand SLLAM) project with TurningPoint's industry leading Network Inventory and Optimization Solution (NiOS®). NiOS® is a TEMS platform developed for, and deployed by, multiple large federal agencies including the Veterans Administration, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Army, and others. NiOS® 6, the newest version of the NiOS® platform, comes with the Tracking, Automation, Control, and Efficiency (TrACE) module. TrACE provides project management functionality specifically designed to support telecommunications transitions - lowering risk and enabling higher visibility into associated ordering and inventory changes. NiOS® 6 will also enable SSA to integrate easily with its EIS vendor(s) for ordering, notifications, dispute, and billing.
