The TCM Annual Tech Awards Celebration is regarded as Maryland’s premier awards ceremony for the technology sector.  In attendance at the annual celebration on April 26, 2012, were over 850 technology and business leaders from around the state and political leaders including Senator Jennie Forehand; Senator Rob Garagiola; Senator Nancy King; Delegate Charles Barkley; Delegate Kathleen Dumais; Delegate Brian Feldman; Delegate Guy Guzzone; Delegate Sheila Hixson; Delegate Ben Kramer; Delegate Susan Lee; Delegate Kirill Reznik; Delegate Geraldine Valentino-Smith and Delegate Jon Cardin.  

The Technology Firm of the Year award acknowledges the organization in the Mid-Atlantic region who has demonstrated innovative technologies and products that are making a difference in the way companies do business.  The other finalists for this award were: Comcast, Broadsoft, Inc., and GlobalNet Services, Inc.  TurningPoint’s receipt of High Tech Firm of the Year demonstrates:

• Innovative products and services relevant to the market,
• Strong long-term prospects for business,
• Evidence of: market penetration, impact on the market, and positive influence on the marketplace, and
• Achievement of significant, measurable success.
