"We're incredibly grateful to TurningPoint for their generous donation to DC Central Kitchen. The funds will go towards our programs that provide training in the culinary arts for at-risk men and women and help break the cycles of hunger and poverty in DC," said Alexander Moore, DC Central Kitchen’s chief development officer.
“The DC Central Kitchen is the type of program that is producing real results in the community, and we are happy to be able to support them.” said TurningPoint CEO Bangalore Shivacharan, who has volunteered his time at the Kitchen over the past six years preparing meals for the homeless.
As part of its corporate commitment to driving social change, TurningPoint plans to make the fund drive an annual event.
