Rockville, MD – April 18, 2014 – General Service Administration's (GSA's) Managed Mobility Program has identified Turning Point Global Solutions as a potential source of Mobile Lifecycle & Expense Management (ML&EM) in the federal government, to centrally manage and optimize Wireless Voice and Data services. TurningPoint's federal ML&EM solution leverages the Network Inventory and Optimization Solution (NiOS) that is currently being used within four Cabinet level Agencies to provide telecom lifecycle management (TLM) and telecom expense management (TEM) support for both wired and wireless services.

The ML&EM program was developed with the cooperation of industry, and in close collaboration with agencies such as DOD, DISA, DOE, DHS, DOI, USDA, and many others. The purpose of the program is to provide potential ML&EM sources that are capable of helping agencies to optimize rate plans, identify inventory and billing errors, eliminate unused lines, improve security controls, manage device disposition and disposal, monitor spending, and load security measures on a device to protect the end user.

A cross-government team of assessors reviewed responses to GSA's Request for Technical Capabilities (RFTC), and deemed TurningPoint as one of four vendors capable of meeting or exceeding common federal ML&EM requirements. Additionally, TurningPoint demonstrated functional understanding of Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance, and the ability to deliver FIPS 140-2 compliant solutions.

"As the government relies increasingly on an expanding variety of smart mobile devices and apps, maintaining enterprise-wide visibility and control of the agency mobility infrastructure is critical." said David Hughes, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of TurningPoint. "We are pleased to partner with GSA and other agencies to provide cost efficient and strategy driven solutions to address these challenges."
