TurningPoint/EMW Joint Venture (JV) has been selected as one of the seven awardees under the Global Information Grid Service Management – Engineering, Transition, and Implementation (GSM-ETI) indefinite delivery/indefinite quality (ID/IQ) contracts. The contract’s period of performance includes a base period of two years, one two-year option period and one one-year option period for a potential total period of five years. The sum total face value for all seven GSM-ETI contracts (the estimated contract ceiling value for the two-year base period) of this action is $568M. Furthermore, the sum total ceiling value of $1.42B is for all seven GSM-ETI contracts, which cannot be exceeded over the life of the potential five years. As a GSM-ETI contract holder, the Joint Venture will bid on tasks to provide the support necessary for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to carry out required engineering, transition/implementation, integration, connection approval and Information Technology (IT) service management activities, in support of existing and future Defense Information System Network (DISN) networking capabilities.

The JV is a combination of two successful and complementary businesses, that possess the required skills and experience necessary to successfully deliver GSM Engineering, Transition, and Integration solutions to DISA, the Combatant Command (COCOMs), Services, and Agencies (CC/S/A).

The JV will use their combined experience and resources to drive the use of management best business practices and leading technologies to cost effectively deliver engineering, transition and integration services.
