Bangalore is responsible for strategic growth and managing overall operations of TurningPoint with a focus on our customer delivery organization and associated technologies and services. Bangalore has more than 25 years of engineering and management experience encompassing both commercial and public sectors. Prior to starting TurningPoint, Bangalore was the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Wisor Telecom Corporation where he designed and built next generation Telecommunications Operational Support Systems for the competitive local exchange carrier and enterprise market. Bangalore has extensive experience in distributed object oriented, high transaction enterprise system architecture, information security framework, and Internet and wireless communication technologies. Bangalore has made significant contributions to the technology and telecommunications industry as a technologist in distributed OO computing and telecommunication network management. Prior to Wisor, Bangalore held key technology positions with Hughes Network Systems (HNS), Data General Corporation, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and Cap Gemini. While working for EDS and CapGemini, Bangalore played key technology roles on several federal government contracts. Bangalore earned his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from the University of Bangalore, India and his Masters in Computer Sciences from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken NJ. Bangalore is member of the professional organizations IEEE and AFCEA.
In 2002, Dave teamed with Bangalore to create Turning Point Global Solutions. Dave is responsible for managing TurningPoint’s sales and marketing organizations. During his 30-year career in progressive management positions Dave has assisted organizations in procuring software and services that increase revenue and improve operational performance. Dave began his career with Telephone Industry Consultants (TELIC) – a firm that was acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation to expand its telecommunication presence. He has also served as the Regional Vice President of Sales for TCSI, a pioneer in object oriented software development methodologies and tools. In 1998 Dave co-founded Wisor Telecom, a software products and services company serving the telecommunications market. At Wisor, Dave helped deliver a core set of software product and services that assisted Verizon, BellSouth, and SBC Communications in meeting their 1996 Telecom Act 271 requirements in certifying that their back office systems met industry guidelines, thereby enabling these companies to sell long distance service outside their primary markets.
Throughout his career he has been a noted industry speaker and has received numerous industry awards for advancing software and telecommunications technologies, as well as corporate awards for exceptional performance. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.
Lisa is responsible for managing TurningPoint's new business processes including capture and proposal management. She has nearly 20 years of experience in federal health IT contracting and more than 30 in healthcare.
Prior to joining TurningPoint in February 2018, Lisa provided new business consulting and proposal management support to a variety of small, medium, and large companies. From 2003 to 2013 she held increasingly responsible positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, culminating in her final role managing an $80 million portfolio of healthcare business, primarily within the Department of Health and Human Services. She began her work in federal health IT contracting focused on the TRICARE Management Activity (now Defense Health Agency) at AdvanceMed, a DynCorp company, prior to its acquisition by CSC in 2003.
Lisa has a Master of Arts degree in journalism from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Evansville.
A member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), Lisa is certified by Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a licensed registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Jason Horak is TurningPoint's Senior Vice President of Commercial Services. In this role, he is responsible for Commercial Business Development including customer success and delivery.
Jason has 20+ years of experience in the software and services industry with extensive focus partnering with clients to deliver on strategic transformation initiatives, improve business processes, launch new products and support ongoing innovation in lifecycle.
Jason has worked for large public companies as well as privately funded start-ups through successful IPOs. Most recently Jason served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Client Development for a public enterprise software company. Earlier positions spanned Operations, Product Development and Solution Engineering. Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Leo University, and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
As Senior Vice President - Federal Telecommunication Services, Navid Nekoui provides executive leadership for Federal Telecom Engineering and Delivery organizations at TurningPoint who serve the Federal Agencies currently using NiOS to manage their Telecommunications (Wired and Wireless) Services and Assets. Navid has extensive experience providing leadership over a large portfolio of services and products to both federal and commercial clients.
Navid has held executive leadership roles within both large and mid-sized companies in delivering growth, effective client and contract management, resource management, and broad operations oversight. Prior to joining TurningPoint, Navid was the Operating Group President for Digital Transformation Services at Koniag Government Services. Previous positions included the Director for Systems Made Simple/Lockheed Martin/Leidos, and held leadership roles within Booz Allen Hamilton and Unisys. Navid previously worked at RBC Capital Markets in Canada.
Navid received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Schulich School of Business(York University) and a BSc in Computer Science from Brock University, both in Canada. Navid holds multiple industry certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (RMP) from PMI, is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe 4 Agilist and ITIL V3 certification.
As Vice President of Healthcare IT, Kamran is responsible for providing executive leadership to various Healthcare IT projects at TurningPoint. Kamran brings over 25 years of experience in architecting and leading complex enterprise-wide solutions in the Healthcare IT field. Kamran is also responsible for the Solution Architecture team at TurningPoint, supporting the Business Development and Capture management teams. Additionally, as a Senior Solution Architect, Mr. Kamrani has led large IT & Engineering teams in delivering large programs in Medicare & Medicaid fields serving Federal Govt. clients. Before TurningPoint, Mr. Kamrani has held senior management positions with large & mid-size IT companies serving Federal Govt. clients.
Mr. Kamrani holds Bachelor in Computer Science from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands. He has several patents to his credit. Mr. Kamrani holds Certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) - 2020, Certification in Cloud Computing & AWS Architecture & Integrated Services - 2016, 2020, and Certification in Agile Project Management & Agile Software Development - 2009.
Sonya manages all aspects of contract administration for TurningPoint's Commercial, and Federal and State government contracts working closely with the TurningPoint management team to ensure business-oriented solutions for contracting and legal issues. She oversees several multiple award GWAC and IDIQ-type vehicles for TurningPoint, including the NIH CIO-SP3 and GSA Schedule 70 GWACS, and several SPARC and STAR2 contracts for TurningPoint's joint venture partnership. Sonya has over 25 years of legal and contracts experience and has worked both for and with in-house corporations and at a DC law firm. Prior to joining TurningPoint, she provided contracts support and engaged with vendors domestically and internationally in the healthcare, retail grocery, telecommunications and broadcast communications, satellite telecommunications and software industries managing contractual revenues of approximately $50-$65M.
Sonya holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; a Paralegal Certificate in Business Finance/Corporate Law for the Philadelphia Institute for Paralegal Training; and a Master of Science in Contracts Management and Procurement and Master of Business Administration both from the University of Maryland, Global Campus.
She is a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and World Commerce & Contracting (formerly IACCM), a Notary Public for the State of Maryland, Board Member of The Bernie Scholarship Awards Program and Advisory Board Member of Transformation Theatre, Inc.
As Vice President of Information Security and Quality Management, Hans is responsible for providing executive leadership in Information Security and Quality Management across various programs at TurningPoint. Mr. Bhatia joined TurningPoint in 2011 as Director of Software Engineering, leading multiple projects on CMS, NIH contracts. As a Certified Information Security professional, Hans, over the years, has ensured that our software engineering and Information Technology projects conform to Industry best practices and standards in assuring Information System Security. In addition, Hans has led the development and implementation of the Quality Management Program at TurningPoint, which is independently assessed to conform to CMMI Maturity Level 5, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards.
In addition to the CISSP certificate, Hans is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Hans has an MBA from the University of Maryland, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and BS in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science & Art.
As Assistant General Manager, Prashanth is responsible for managing R&D Centre and Commercial Delivery Projects at TurningPoint India. Prashanth started his career at TurningPoint as a Telecom Analyst in 2006. Since 2006, Prashanth has held various roles with increasing responsibility in managing Software Engineering teams in delivery of high quality enterprise applications. He has earned the respect of customers, co-workers, and TurningPoint Management. Prashanth was promoted to current role in October 2020.
Prashanth also oversees the corporate certification programs at an organizational level and has successfully contributed in achieving CMMI Level 5, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certifications. Prior to TurningPoint, he has played roles across IT Operations, and Training & Development. Prashanth is certified Scrum Master, certified CMMI Associate, Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and certified ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Lead Auditor.
Prashanth holds a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology from the American Heritage University of Southern California, USA.
